Visit the virtual classroom!

Kia ora Team 2 students  - you were so amazingly brave and calm on Monday. We are thinking of you all and hoping school can reopen next week. We also hope that you are keeping safe in these tough times.

Here is a cool Maths site to visit with lots of interactive games to help with multiplication. Have fun!
www.multiplication.com

Remember if you are registered for Mathletics to keep using it! There are great links to other maths websites on Mathletics too.

A good website for spelling is www.spellingcity.com  It has lots of interactive activities for spelling.

Keep up with your reading! Hopefully you have a good book at home. Christchurch South Library is open and it is a great place to visit. It also has lots of cool interactive stuff to do and a cafe for your parents! The newspaper at the moment has excellent photos and articles on the earthquake. You could make a scrapbook to share at school  - remember to put the date on anything that goes into the scrapbook.

Here are a couple of great websites connected with our mammal topic:

Writing: think about doing a photo essay on what is happening in your community or home or around the city. Use a digital camera to take photos and organise them logically, creating captions and information to go with them. You could put this into a power point that we can share at school or into a booklet or poster.

There are also RED Challenges you can do: artwork, design your own, helping others, cooking meals, simple experiments etc

Keep an eye on our blog site for new updates.
Kia kaha. Stay strong. We are looking forward to seeing you soon.
Ms Thomas, Miss Murphy, Mr Paxie, Miss Mauchline
